Fulfill a dream – climbing up the highest and most famous summit in Tanzania. Mount Kilimanjaro stands almost 6000 meters above sea level, but one does not need to be an experienced mountain climber to reach its peak. To climb to the summit of Kilimanjaro, you need to be in a fit and healthy state with a good all-round condition, strong will power and a little bit of luck. All you really need is the ambition – we will do the rest.

    • Mount Meru 4 Day Hike

    A 4 day hike to the summit of Mt Meru, the third highest peak in Tanzania, through verdant afromontane forest into high altitude alpine desert with unparalleled views of a dormant volcano. Please note: the first 2 days require an armed ranger due to wild animals. There are simply NOT ENOUGH rangers to go around and this means for the first 2 days guests have to walk together / start together. This has proven frustrating to guests that are not informed. Please inform all guests of this point

    • Mount Meru 3 Day Hike

    A shorter 3 day version of the hike to the summit of Mt Meru, the third highest peak in Tanzania, through verdant afromontane forest into high altitude alpine desert with unparalleled views of a dormant volcano. This itinerary misses out the last night on the mountain. Instead, after summiting, the walk continues all the way back to Momella Gate. Please note: the first 2 days require an armed ranger due to wild animals. There are simply NOT ENOUGH rangers to go around and this means for the first 2 days guests have to walk together / start together. This has proven frustrating to guests that are not informed. Please inform all guests of this point.

    A morning hike on the beautiful slopes of the incredible Mt Meru with an excursion into the crater before returning for a picnic at Kitoto View Point. This hike can be combined with an afternoon game drive to Arusha National Park before returning home.
